Is there a certain souvenir item you collect on your travels?

Some people collect spoons, Thimbles, magnets or t-shirts. I collect rocks. Once a baggage checker picked up my very heavy suitcase and asked, “What you got in here, lady? Rocks?” I said yes, but I am sure he thought I was joking.

I buy a pair of earings that are somehow representative of the area or that are unique from a local artisian.
This is something that I wear all the time and is much more useful than the usual tourist souveniers.
